The Billing Clerk’s responsibility is to input information for all orders to generate pick slips, bills-of-lading and shipping labels for customers’ orders. Make necessary adjustments to the orders as needed. He/she will reconcile invoices with pick-slips and file all invoices. Input products price changes and revise purchase orders as needed. He/she will ensure all customer accounts are updated. Assign accurate general ledger account and vendor numbers to each invoice. Check for extension requests, verify invoice amount and correct any errors against receiving voucher. Record/log all checks and cash received from customers. Assist sales department and other office projects as needed.
• Excellent customer service.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft office and basic computer functionality.
• Basic math skills, 10-key calculator, typewriter, label printer and multi-line telephone experience preferred.
• Prior retail experience and Asian products preferred.
• Fluency in Chinese, a plus.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds.
